Tuesday, March 25. 2008Cleaning Madness I swear, today I did so much cleaning. And there's still more to do. Urgh. We really need to keep up with this cleaning nonsense. It's only for a month and a half. Geeze has time gone by!!Nick bought some candles from Big Lots last night. I have them going right now. Sure does make the place smell better. Not to mention the air freshener and the carpet fresh I made him buy. I still have to clean the bathroom. Luckily the bathroom isn't that big. There's just some dog fur on the floor from when Xena got her bath. I hate seeing dog fur. It's so annoying. Everytime I see it, I want to immediately clean it up. I guess that's why the kitchen floor is constantly being cleaned. Haha. Stupid dog fur. Grrr. Anyway, Nick needs to clean his rabbits cage when he gets home. I won't do that. It's not my rabbit. That's all on him. Well, I better get to cleaning that bathroom. Then I'll be done with cleaning everything! WoohoO!!!!!!!! Almost 11
I can't believe it's almost 11 and I'm still up. I should be sleeping right now.
Friends think I'm crazy but I just love my job. Sorry, quoting that commercial. Oh how I can't stand that commercial. XD Nick needs to go shave. He is hairy like animal. Wow...I really need to go to sleep now. Friday, March 21. 2008New Color, New Adventures. So with the money my mom sent me, I decided to dye my hair. I wanted to try something different instead of the same ol' auburn. I was tired of my hair being dark. So, I wanted to go blonde. Turns out, it didn't make my hair blonde. Instead it made my hair orange. Yes, orange. And the funny thing is, I actually like it orange. I think it goes well with my skin tone. I'm not going to dye my hair a darker color to try to cover it up. I'm going to stick with this orange hair. Heck, I might end up keeping it like this for a while. The funny thing about it, almost a YEAR ago I dyed the bottom layer of my hair black. Well, the top color long ago faded. The black, it's still there. No matter what I do, it's not going anywhere. So when I wear my hair down, the top is orange and the longer strands of hair is black. Haha. It doesn't look bad, just wondering when that black will fade out. So far it's lasted almost a year. Three more months and it will be a year. Isn't that crazy? That's some good hair dye. Alright, I'll quit my rambling. Here's a picture of the new hair : ![]() Good Ol' Tv As I was reading a post on my mom's site, it got me thinking about how different TV is now. I mean, remember all those classics? All the shows now all seem to be the same. They all have the same plot, just different people. The cartoons now all are anime and basically are about the same thing. There's nothing new and original. Sure, the producers have taken classics like Spider Man and kids still get to watch it. But, it's not the same. Spider Man now has all these fancy outfits and the artwork is so detailed. Call me old fashioned, but I like the old Spider Man. The old Batman. The old Ninja Turtles. When I was my brother's age, you know what I was watching? Bugs Bunny. Bugs Bunny dressing up like a woman. I found it the funniest thing ever. I also loved watching the Magic School Bus. Now my youngest brother is watching these anime cartoons that I can't even pronounce the name. The one thing about his cartoons, is they all have these monsters on cards. I don't understand it. I guess Pokemon really started some trend. I don't know. TV just isn't the same. It makes you think, what are they going to air in 10 years? I mean, they already show partial nudity on TV..so in 10 years, will it all just be some giant porno? Oi. TV is going to be a scary thing. I've noticed that people already let the TV control them. For example, Nick. The first thing he does when he comes home is turns on the TV. I've asked him several times, can't you just sit there and read? Or listen to music? Why do you have to have the tv on? He has tried to go without...but watching him without the tv on when it's sitting right there is like watching a crack addict without his crack. It's really bad. So I'm asking, how long can you go without the TV on? Thursday, March 20. 2008Vacuum: FIXED!
So...Nick's vacuum has been broken for....lets just say months. Finally, I took it completely apart..and WOOHOO I fixed it! My hands are completely black from pulling out wads of dog hair. It was so backed up. No wonder the poor vacuum didn't want to work anymore. Needed a good cleaning.
So I vacuumed the bedroom. The carpet in our room was black from dog fur. I gave Xena a bath and when she got out, she rubbed all over the carpet. It's actually really gross how much she's been shedding. That is the reason why I don't want a house with carpet. Her fur is everywhere. Urgh. Maybe I'll just shave her. American Idol is starting to make me mad. I can't believe that country girl is STILL there. I can't stand her and I don't think she can sing at all. Poor Amanda is gone. I loved her. Her voice was so different. Urrgh. I'm going to go give the vacuum it's final test. Wish me luck.
