I can't believe how cold it is and it is only October. My mom was telling me the other day how it is usually not this cold here around this time. I mean, we have already had snow. Which is weird. It usually doesn't start to snow until after Thanksgiving! This makes me think that this winter is going to be a very cold one. But hey, that's what heaters and plenty of blankets are for, right?

Speaking of blankets, I bought a really nice comforter last week on overstock.com. It was really cheap. I couldn't find one at a better price anywhere else! I will be getting it tomorrow. Which I am so thankful for. It has been so cold these past few nights. The blanket I sleep with just is not cutting it at all. So, I can't wait to cuddle up in my new one! It's going to be so nice! Yay for new blankets!

I can't believe how cold it is! It feels like we just jumped right into winter! Haha. Last night it got all the way down to 32 degrees. I know that's not a lot, but it's pretty dang cold! I am not looking forward to winter. I know it is just going to be so cold.

Today I went to Hartford City with my sister, Jamie and Jeremy. We had fun. I ate a triple patty burger at Burger King. The lady working the register looked at me and asked, "You can eat all that?!" Heck yes I can! I ate all of that and my fries. No problem at all. My sister couldn't finish her fries. What a pud.

My sister is making delicious cupcakes right now. Oh how I love cupcakes. Speaking of delicious sweets, here's a picture of the cake cookies I made last week that I have been forgetting to post :



They were very tasty. I will have to make more cookies sometime this week. Depending on if I get my bank card. I really hope that comes soon. I want to look into getting rc helicopters!! They look like fun!

Well, I finally broke down and made some cookies. I made cake cookies. I didn't buy frosting since my sister said she'd teach me how to make home made frosting. It turned out all so well! I am really proud of these cookies. I tried one and let me tell you, they are delicious. I took some pictures but I can't post them right now. I will have to wait for my sister's husband to upload them to his flickr.

Anyway, today was a rather warm day. I was not expecting it to be as warm as it was. I better not get use to it though. It will be dropping again some time next week. Although, it sure is nice to just wear a t-shirt!

Anyway, I better try to get some work done. Ha, what is that about?

I really would like to thank everyone who left me sites for different recipes. I will be trying them out as soon as I get the time. I am actually going to be making the cheesecake brownies. They look so good. I just hope when I make them, they actually turn out alright. It is so hard for me to make brownies. Haha. I'm such a dork.

I want my sister to start making more cupcakes and making all the pretty little designs from the cupcake book she got. She made some cupcakes the other day, but she didn't do anything too fancy with them. I told her she needs to make the shark cupcakes. Those look so awesome. I will post pictures of those if she ever makes them. She will probably make them when I make brownies. Hah..that will be awhile.

Sorry for my delay with the updates. I've been really busy. But I know, that is no excuse.

My pink eye is almost all gone. It's not pink or swollen anymore. But I still have about 2 more days of putting the medication on it. I can't believe how long it takes for pink eye to just go away! 7 days can seem like a lifetime. Especially since I'm walking around watching everything I do and touch. I don't want anyone else to get it. I would never hear the end of it. Especially from my sister. hehe.

I have to go to Hartford City today. We need to drop something off. I just don't know what time I should wake Nick up. He didn't go to bed until 5 in the morning. So, maybe I'll wake him up at noon or sometime around there. I don't want him to not get his sleep. Yeah, I know. Sometimes I can be nice.

Anyway, I think I should go get dressed and start my day!
