Thursday, October 29. 2009California Trip
Well, I am back! I have lots of posting that I have to do to make up for the two weeks I haven't updated. The California trip was nice. The weather was hot some of the days. But it got really cold at night. The last couple of days we were there it was really windy. We went up to my Grandma's house for the weekend we were there. It was really nice. Of course my dad was there showing off his new LCD TV. He was really proud of that thing. My Grandma was so happy to see us. She just loved Jeremy to pieces. She bought him a bunch of toys before we got there. So he got a nice little surprise from her. I wish we were able to spend more time with her. I guess the next time we go to visit maybe we can squeeze some more time in with her.
When we first got there, she showed me the scrapbook she made for my dad. It turned out really nice. She had been working on it for years. She had to make it perfect! Now she's making one for me and one for Trevor. I know it's going to come out beautiful because she has so many pictures of us when we were babies and growing up. I can't wait to see the finish product! My dad is going to talk to her about moving out here. I will post some pictures later on in the day! Saturday, October 17. 2009An Hour Left
So we have a little bit over an hour before we have to leave. And of course I am trying to get everything done. I'm cramming as much stuff in that I can within an hour.
I always feel like I am forgetting something. Jeremy's diaper bag is all packed. My bags are all packed. What could possibly be missing? I know I need to grab my iPod before we leave. I can't forget that. Friday, October 16. 2009New Tricks
So, Jeremy has been such a ham bone lately. He is full of all kinds of new things. His Grandparents in California are going to have a blast with him. He's got so much energy. And he loves making people laugh with all his random noises. Hopefully, he won't do one of his new tricks to them. Which is, when he eats, he likes to stick his tongue out and show the world his food. And of course, lets not forget how he likes to growl at everyone now. My mom's dog taught him that. My mom has a small dog in which doesn't really care for Jeremy. She's never been around babies so she doesn't understand what he is. Haha. Jeremy loves that dog. He goes after her all the time and Star just runs away growling at him. One day she growled at him and he growled back at her. Apparently, he has mastered the language of the dog.
Well, it's better than him looking at stainless steel tiles and growling! Almost Done
Alright, so the majority of my packing is done. Today I have to go shopping for some last minute items. I need to get little snacks for Jeremy and little juice boxes. And of course some diapers and wipes. Of course I also have to figure out what Jeremy is going to wear. I'm not going to put him in jeans because I know that would be uncomfortable for him on the plane. So, I think he's just going to wear some sweats.
I also want to clean up my room a little bit before I go. So then hopefully when we get back, it's nice and tidy for us! While we are going to be away, the weather is suppose to warm up here. Figures, right? And I'm sure when we get back, it'll be cold again. Haha. Fun stuff. Thursday, October 15. 2009Packing = Done
Last night I got the majority of my packing done. Yes, that's right. I'm pretty much all packed up for California. The only thing left to pack is some little things that Jeremy will need. Nick is going to call the airport today to find out if we can bring snacks on the plane for Jeremy. I really wish I could bring an electric blanket on the plane because sometimes it gets so cold! Nick was pretty shocked when I told him I was pretty much done packing. I got all my laundry done so that's why I packed. Plus, if I keep those clothes of mine and Jeremy's out of sight, we won't wear them and dirty them up.
What can I say? The boy is an Indianian.
