With Christmas just around the corner, it really has me going crazy. There's so much that I still need to buy since I am buying for a small army. I could just give everyone Baptism invitations and just call it a day. I don't know how well that would go over with them though.
I already have a few bags filled with Christmas gifts, but it still is not enough. Trevor has got to be the hardest person to buy for since he just won't tell anyone what he wants. Not to mention, he goes out and buys what he wants when he wants it. So it doesn't leave much for the rest of us. Haha. Thank you very much Trevor for making this harder than it should be! How is everyone else' Christmas shopping going? Hopefully better than mine! Baking Time
On Monday I really want to bake some Christmas cookies. I want to get some practice on these because they look very difficult. They are royal icing cookies of course.
This is why I am waiting for my day off because it's going to be an all day thing with these cookies. I have a lot of people that I want to bake cookies for for the holidays. So they have to perfect. I also need to print some pictures out of them or something to hand out to Norm because he had a few people asking about cookies. That would be sweet to sell some of them! I could always use the extra cash! Getting Ready For Work
I have a little less than an hour before I have to leave for work. 2 to 11 tonight.
Winter is finally here. There have been a couple days where it has just been freezing. It doesn't help that at work they keep the AC on all day long. So I just can't get away from being cold. No fun at all. I really should get dressed. Boo. I like just lounging around. Then again, who doesn't? Black Friday
Black Friday was a mad house! I have never seen it so packed before! Then again, I've only gone 2 other times. This was the first time I had to work through it though. Haha. After that crazy day, I need to look in to how to get rid of eye wrinkles. Really, it was insane. People are crazy. There was still a lot of stuff left though. Which was odd considering the crowd of people.
Hopefully today won't be as crazy. Everything should have been put up last night. Lets hope it is! I am hoping today just flies right on by. I am really looking forward to Monday. I have 2 days off in a row. That is wonderful! Come on weekend, fly right by! Tuesday, November 23. 201012 dollars? No Thanks.
Last night when I came home from work, I found some mail on my desk. It was from Chase. It was something I was not in the mood to open because I just knew it was going to be something that would ruin my day. It was a thick envelope. Well, of course I opened it just to get it over and done with. I didn't even need to put on any scopes because the font was so big and bold. Of course that means it's something bad.
I got to reading it and they are going to start charging a monthly fee. Boo! 12 dollars a month is just ridiculous. And of course, it said that if you deposit $500 at one time, you don't deal with that fee. Well, that doesn't help me since my checks from work aren't that high. $144 a year just to have that bank account. No thank you. I already signed up with a new bank and will be leaving Chase shortly. It was okay while it lasted. Now it's time to move on!
