Today when we got home from Bluffton I had some mail. Well, one of the letters I just thought was junk mail. I'm sure glad I opened it! It was a gift certificate from a portrait gallery for $150. Turns out they give it out to 16 people that are mothers to a newborn for the first time. I was so happy when I called and got an appointment! I was going to take Jeremy to get pictures taken, but not from a really expensive place. I'm pretty stoked about this. Not to mention they add 20 more dollars to your gift card if you have to travel 20 miles to get to them. Guess what? They are about 21 miles away from me. I am so excited! They will be great Christmas gifts that is for sure!

The appointment for the pictures is on October 24th at 9 in the morning. I can't wait.

Sometimes I get really annoying phone calls from people that I just don't want to hear from. I hate when I get phone solicitors calling for me. They are just so annoying! Well, yesterday morning I woke up and my eye was really pink. We all thought it was because I just haven't been getting enough sleep. Well, this morning when I woke up, it was still pink. So, I decided I should go see the doctor. We were already going to be heading in that direction, so I figured, what would it hurt? We went there and the doc told me, Yep, you got yourself a case of pink eye. How wonderful right? Well, it is a Monday! That's all I have to say. Then I found out that my insurance isn't working anymore because I'm no longer pregnant. I did not know about that. So, I will be slapped with a big ol' bill just for a doctor to see me for 10 minutes. Oh how I love it. This is why people don't go to the doctors. It costs an arm and a leg! I tell you what!

So, I went to Walmart to get my medicine for my eye. It only cost 4 dollars. I was rather pleased with that. My mom had to buy it for me because I am broke as a joke. No lie. Pretty bad that I couldn't even afford 4 dollars. Well, what are ya going to do?

My eye should be all better within a week. I can't wait for it to be normal again. I'm not too happy about having to throw away all my make up. That's expensive!
